Thermoplastic PolymersA range of polymer foams are suitable for use as top covers. These can be broadly divided into the following foam families: Polyethylenes, workhorse Microcell EVAs, and Puzo Premium EVAs. We offer a wide range of firmnesses (durometers), thicknesses and colours within each of these foam groups. The level of durability, resistance to compression set, and abrasion resistance is determined in large part by the group to which they belong and the quality of material. Performance is also determined by the raw materials used, specific formulation and in the case of the premium EVAs from Puzo, by how they have been engineered to meet desired mixes of performance specifications.
