Plate Mounting Cushion


FlexoFoam is a premium closed cell foam mounting material with a single side adhesive specifically engineered for corrugated post print. 

Designed to reduce the height of photopolymer printing plates, the flexible mounting material allows printers to achieve;

  • Consistent ink coverage.
  • Reduced dot gain.
  • Less fluting on corrugated substrates.
  • Excellent imaging on complex print jobs.

FlexoFoam has excellent memory and re-bound characteristics enabling you to print with reduced pressure settings prolonging the life of the printing plate.The high quality PE is water and solvent resistant and dimensionally accurate across the web eliminating high and low spots.

With high press speeds and long demanding print runs; FlexoFoam is engineered to stand up to the ever increasing demands on today’s printers.
  • Fixed adhesive eliminating stretch.
  • Available in 7 thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 4mm.

*ISO 3386 measures the compression stress/strain characteristic of low-density flexible cellular materials up to 250 kg/m3. It also indicates the compression stress value such materials and load-bearing properties of the material, though not necessarily capacity to sustain a long-term load.
