Doctor Blade Type SC is a printing doctor blade with one pre-ground lamella edge.

This doctor blade has a universal use for the best results both in rotogravure and in flexo printing.

The reduced thickness of the lamella together with the strong blade body enables an excellent doctoring with low printing pressure.

Both incase of rotogravure and anilox cylinders with any cells density, SC type allows high quality ink wiping.

Finished with the Mirror Edge technology, the contact edge (lamella tip) is perfectly rounded and mirror like, for an immediate start and optimum printing results.

The very slight tapering along the lamella has been calculated to obtain a perfect compromise between stability of tone during the whole printing run and consistency of specific pressure in function of the lamella wear.

Together with the excellent straightness of the blade, all the above characteristics allow low printing pressures at high speed and consequently longer blade endurance as well as the absence of printing scumming.
