The converter with 14 BITS produces measurements of exceptional precision and repeatability - density readings up to 3 decimal points and dot percentage readings to 1 decimal point.
The optical system meets the ISO CD 14981 standard using a light source of 9 LED's (3 of each colour), completely eliminating problems caused by the rapid ageing of the filters and of incandescent lamps, typical of densitometers of the past generation.
The calibration procedure for the DR842 is very quick and simple, either calibrating on a certified reference tablet or on other models of densitometers.
