Plastazote is a high quality, lightweight, closed cell foam that is non-allergenic and can be used against the skin. Plastazote is mainly used in the construction of foot orthotics and prosthetics.
Plastazote is frequently recommended as the number one material to use in orthotic making, to protect insensitive diabetic feet.
This unique material has been designed to accommodate pressure and hot spots, by conforming to heat and pressure.
The pink medium Plastazote, can be used as a top cover for diabetic patients orthotics, where total contact is desired.
The white firm Plastazote, offers more support and can be used on the top or bottom of an orthotic.

Orthoses: braces, splints, collars, immobilisers & support pads.
Also used as a conforming foam for arthritic patients.

Plastazote is grindable as well as heat mouldable. Its working temperature is between 107°C - 121°C. Plastazote is easy to thermoform using standard vacuum forming or heat impression techniques.Plastazote Medium
